The funding announcement brings total funding in the company to $15 million since the company was founded in 2011. Based in Massachusetts but founded by Israelis Noam Javits, Keren Zimmerman and Amir Farhi, Personali integrates their code into ecommerce websites to keep customers updated on the latest deals.

Israeli Companies Test Out Natural Gas Buses
June 14, 2015 | Israeli bus companies Egged and Dan will reportedly begin using a bus that is fueled by compressed natural gas. The bus, manufactured by the German vehicle maker MAN, will initially be used by charters and only later for public transportation uses. Egged will test the buses out in the Haifa area and Dan in its area of service, Tel Aviv.

Medgenics Receives $3.4M Grant From OCS
June 14, 2015 | The US-Israeli company creating novel gene-based therapies, Medgenics received a $3.4 million grant from Israel’s Office of the Chief Scientist, part of the Ministry of the Economy. According to the company, the grant will be used to cover research and development expenses over a 13 month period. Medgenics is a publicly traded company that has developed the TARGT system for the production and delivery of therapeutic proteins for the treatment of rare and orphan diseases.

Engie Takes First At Israel Mobile Summit
June 11, 2015 | The Israeli car repair startup Engie was selected the winner of the Israel Mobile Summit 2015. Engie, which was founded by Uri Levine and IDC students, one of the founders of Waze, was selected out of 100 startups in the mobile competition. FairFly was the second place winner and Ramini in third. This is the fourth year that Israel has held a conference especially for Mobile app developers.

Israeli Tech To Protect NYC Cabs From Accidents
June 11, 2015 | As part of New York’s fulfillment of the multinational Vision Zero initiative to improve driving safety, Israeli tech Mobileye will be installed in the city’s taxi cabs. Mobileye is a driving alert system that notifies drivers of potentially dangerous accidents before they occur. Mobileye was founded in 1999 by Hebrew University Prof. Amnon Shashua.

Intec Pharma To Raise $46M In IPO
June 11, 2015 | The Israeli pharmaceutical company developing a leading Parkinson’s drug, Intec Pharma filed a prospectus with the US SEC to raise up to $46 million in an IPO. Intec Pharma is already traded publicly on the TASE with a market cap of $44 million. Intec Pharma is based in Jerusalem and was founded in 2000.

WalkMe Raises $25M From Greenspring Associates
June 11 | Israeli enterprise guidance and engagement startup WalkMe has raised $25 million in a private financing round led by Greenspring Associates. WalkMe provides a cloud-based service designed to help customer service managers to guide and engage customers and employees. The startup company was founded in 2012 by Dan Adika and Eyal Cohen.

Technion Prof Receives Grand Challenges Explorations Grant
June 10, 2015 | The Technion Israel Institute of Technology announced that it has received a grant from Grade Challenges Explorations, part of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, that asks people around the would to test out revolutionary ideas. The grant was bestowed on university professor Hossam Haick who is currently researching a patch detection method for tuberculosis. The Grand Challenges Explorations was established as part of the Gates Foundation in 2008 and has supported a total of 1,100 projects in 60 countries.

Adgorithms To Issue AIM IPO Worth $41.8M
June 10, 2015 | The Israeli digital marketing company Adgorithms announced that it will issue a public offering on London’s AIM, worth £27 million ($41.8 million). The listing will take place this Friday, June 12th. The adviser for the public listing is Liberium Capital. Adgorithms was founded in 2009 by Or Shani.

Nexmo Establishes Tel Aviv Offices
June 10, 2015 | The cloud communications company Nexmo announced that it has opened an office in Tel Aviv to address the growing need for their solutions among Israeli businesses. Nexmo works with companies like Amobee, Onavo and Sansa Security. Nexmo’s Israel office will be located at the shared work space Mindspace in Tel Aviv and will be led by Omri Krigel.

Cellcom To Issue US Public Offering
June 10, 2015 | Cellcom Israel announced that it has filed to issue a public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, with the goal of raising up to $39 million. This is the first draft prospectus issued by the company since it went public about eight years ago. Cellcom was founded in 1994 by Dov Tadmor.

The incubator was founded by graduates of Israel’s elite 8200 intelligence unit and is supported by Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s venture firm Innovation Endeavors. illusive networks was founded in 2014 by former Check Point exec Ofer Israeli.

CyberArk To Raise $62M In Third Offering
June 10, 2015 | In its third offering, CyberArk Software plans to issue 900,000 new shares with the hopes of raising up to $62 million. CyberArk held its original IPO in September 2014, issuing shares valued at $16 a share. According to “Globes”, Israeli venture capital firm Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP) will sell the majority of its shares in CyberArk for a total of $195, together with Vertex Venture Capital and CyberArk director Amnon Shoshani. CyberArk was founded in 1999 by Udi Mokady and Alon N. Cohen.

SolarEdge Share Price Doubles On NASDAQ
June 10, 2015 | The price of Israeli company SolarEdge‘s publicly traded shares have more than doubled, from an inital $18 a share to $38.67 per share. This makes the company’s market cap close to $1.5 billion. SolarEdge recently raised $144.9 million on NASDAQ and announced a partnership with Elon Musk’s company Tesla to produce a solar-powered battery for home use. SolarEdge was founded in 2006 by CEO Guy Sela, Lior Handelsman, Yoav Galin, Meir Adest and Amir Fishelov.
