June 10, 2015 | The price of Israeli company SolarEdge‘s publicly traded shares have more than doubled, from an inital $18 a share to $38.67 per share. This makes the company’s market cap close to $1.5 billion. SolarEdge recently raised $144.9 million on NASDAQ and announced a partnership with Elon Musk’s company Tesla to produce a solar-powered battery for home use. SolarEdge was founded in 2006 by CEO Guy Sela, Lior Handelsman, Yoav Galin, Meir Adest and Amir Fishelov.
