TriEye said Porsche, a strategic investor, has identified its CMOS-based SWIR camera as an important component to achieving better visibility capabilities, especially in adverse weather conditions.

Founded in 2012, Tactile Mobility (formerly called MobiWize) says it provides smart and autonomous vehicles with the missing tactile sensing and data that make vehicles smarter and improve roads and mobility ecosystems.

The initial $17 million investment in TriEye, which developed sensing tech for driving systems, was led by Intel Capital.
