Flayvr Launches Android App
Israeli startup Flayvr, which developed an app for automatically arranging smartphone photo libraries, has launched its app on the Android platform. The app organized the data by interfacing with your phone’s calendar and the photos’ location tags. For example, if you take pictures at an event that is also written in your calendar, the app will automatically name that album accordingly.

13 Israeli Companies Named ‘Cool Vendors’ By Gartner
Technology research company Gartner has released its annual “Cool Vendors” list, which includes 13 Israeli companies. The list features small companies in the fields of IT, communications and other branches of high-tech, which develop “groundbreaking” technology.
The companies listed are cyber-security company Cyvera, personalized video company SundaySky, database security company GreenSQL, MobileSpaces, which offers a platform for separating business and personal use on smartphones, operation analytics company Evolven, Perfecto Mobile, which offers a cloud-based solution for mobile app testing, online guide generator WalkMe, cloud database service company Ctera Networks, smart event seating company SeatID, behavior-biometric company BioCatch, cloud storage company Garantia and digital priniting company Landa.

Israel To Cooperate With Indian State Of Karnataka
The Israeli Industry Center for R&D MATIMOP has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state of Karnataka. Israeli startup FTBpro, which operates the world’s largest fan-based soccer content website, has announced that it has raised $5.8 million. The funds were raised from Battery Ventures and Gemini Israel Funds.
