The program will target Israeli startups developing Fintec (financial technology). Startups accepted into the program will receive six months of guidance in the areas of business development, business strategy, technology development, PR and more.

Israeli startup ThetaRay, which develops security software, has raised several millions of dollars from General Electric. The startup, which operates out of the Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP) Cyber Security Incubator, is developing means of dealing with advanced persistent threats. ThetaRay is the first Israeli startup to receive funding from GE.

Trax Technology Raises $6.6 From Singaporean Fund
Israeli company Trax Technology Solutions Pte Ltd. has announced that it has raised $6.6 million from an unnamed Singaporean investment fund. Trax develops logistic solutions for tracking the shipping of goods. According to the deal, the Singaporean fund might invest up to an additional $15 million over the next 18 months.

UPS To Offer 3D Printing Service With Stratasys Technology
International shipping company UPS will soon offer its customers a 3D printing service, intended for designers and entrepreneurs who don’t own a 3D printer. The 3D printers, manufactured by Israeli-American company Stratasys, will be available at UPS stores, enabling customers to print their designs on site.

Compugen Signs $500M Agreement With Bayer
Israeli biopharmaceutical company Compugen, which develops antibody-based cancer treatments, has entered into a commercialization agreement with American pharmaceutical company Bayer HealthCare.
The two companies will work on researching, developing and commercializing Compugen’s treatments, based on immune checkpoint regulators discovered by the company. The deal is worth $500 million.

Israeli Cleantech company SolView, which developed software that evaluates the possible benefit of installing solar panels on specific houses, has raised $4 million. The investment was made by Israeli Capital Nature, which invests mainly in eco-friendly companies.

STaaS Company Zadara Raises $3M
Israeli startup Zadara Storage Ltd., which develops Storage-as-a-Service technology, has raised $3 million from Toshiba. Zadara has developed cutting edge storage technology, which will be combined with Toshiba’s storage technology.
Zadara has raised $10 million to date.

Agritech Company Kaiima Raising Over $60M
Israeli company Kaiima, which develops strains of plants that are more resilient and yield more crop is in the process of raising more than $60 million. A major investor was The World Bank’s investment branch IFC, which contributed $20 million. Another major investor is Chinese billionaire Li Ka-shing’s Horizon Ventures.

Sol Chip Raises $2.5M For Infinite Battery
Israeli company Sol Chip, which develops batteries embedded with solar panels, has raised $2.5 million in a series A financing round. The money was raised from the Office of the Chief Scientist.
The company says that it will use the fund for further testing and R&D of its solar-powered battery.

Israeli startup Datorama, which developed a self-service cross-channel marketing analytics platform, has announced the closing of a series A financing round, raising $3 million. The investment was made by Cedar Fund and Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors.

Israeli Stockton Group, which specializes in developing green solutions for the plant protection market, will receive a portion of an €8 million EU grant. The grant, given to Stockton and nine other companies, is intended for the development of bio-friendly pesticides and fungicides.

Ex-Libris Wins NIS 8M Project In The US
Israeli company Ex-Libris, which develops and markets smart automation systems for academic libraries, has won several projects at for major universities in the US. The Jerusalem-based company is in the process of implementing its solutions at Oklahoma University, California State University San Marcos, Purdue University and the University of North Dakota. The projects are worth a total of NIS 8 million (approx. $2.25 million).

Video Delivery Platform Qwilt Raises $16M
Israeli company Qwilt, which develops online video delivery solutions, has raised $16 million in a series C financing round. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and was joined by current investors Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and Marker LLC. The company says it will use the funds to expand its sales and engineering teams.
