Grindr is considered to be the most successful gay dating/acquaintance app in the world, with more that 2 million users meeting each other based on their geographical location. Now, Grindr's CEO plans to launch another location based app for the straight community, called Amicus.

Verishow, a new "video chat on steroids," aims to enhance customer service by allowing people to video-chat with a far-off product representative, while simultaneously looking at various independent applications, such as charts and paypal, that assist the consumers in the chat.
