OHB has signed an agreement with Helios to send its space tech to the moon to produce oxygen from lunar soil by the year 2025.

Helios says its technology will make it viable for oxygen to be produced on lunar soil for fuel, instead of being brought from the Earth.

Tech developed by Helios melts lunar soil to extract oxygen for fuel, enabling lower payloads and lower costs for space missions.
