The Israel-Italy Joint Innovation Council for Industrial, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation in R&D will promote eight academic and six industrial cooperative projects, funded by both governments at NIS 15 million (almost $4.2 million) per year.

A new bar-restaurant co-op, founded by organizers of last summer's social justice protests, already has 60 shareholders. The bar, located in Tel Aviv, is planning to open its doors next month. All administrative decisions will be made by vote only.
