The innovative hand-drawn animation was honored as one of eight apps globally recognized at the Apple Design Awards.

A delegation from PowToon recently traveled to a remote African tribe in Tanzania to introduce a local tribe to animation for the first time with amazing results.

What started out as a comic strip produced by an organization that helps disabled Israeli youths is about to become a cartoon show on Nickelodeon. The show's characters are all superheroes who also have certain disabilities. The project is intended to promote integration of the disabled community in Israel.

The Israeli Scratch program, part of the miLAB at IDC in Herzliya, teaches young students programming concepts and skills in multimedia communication. Users are taught to make and share their own videos, animations and games.

Israeli App Pops, which recently raised $1.5 million, turns your mobile phone's notifications into animations and videos. Users can personalize different visual animations instead of the default notifications that come with the apps they are using. The app is being presented at the Mobile World Congress.
