Tracking pollutants to determine air quality across the world, Israeli startup BreezoMeter won a major bid to map air pollution in Paris.

Israeli company Better Air has created a system that improves air quality in homes, offices and hospitals - using probiotics - millions of "good bacteria" - to fight harmful bacteria.

AirBase Systems, an Israel-based environmental technology startup, deployed a new mobile, wireless air quality measurement kit that can transmit data to an Internet collection base. The kit is designed primarily for city use but can potentially be suitable for purchase by environmental NGOs or even individuals.
