American medical device manufacturer Stryker has announced that it has reached a deal to acquire Israeli Surpass Medical, which develops aneurysm treatments. The Tel Aviv based company will receive $100 million in cash plus up to an additional $35 million in milestone payments.

Water Pressure In National Water Carrier Will Be Used To Produce Clean Energy
The Israeli national water company Mekorot has announced that it will install a turbine that will use water pressure from the National Water Carrier of Israel to produce clean electricity. The electricity generated by the turbine will be the yearly equivalent of 1,000 tons of coal. The project will launch in the coming month and is estimated at NIS 7 million.
