Israeli company Incentives Solutions, which offers a variety of software for measuring, assessing and setting reward systems for sales departments, has announced a successful financing round, raising $2 million. The funds were raised from Moah H.M. Holdings Ltd., a privately held Israeli investment firm.

Israeli company Numbeez, which developed an app which translates information from social networks into info-graphic charts, has announced that it has raised $600,000 from Navitrio. Navitrio, part of the IDB Holding Group, invests mainly in companies that are in their pre-seed stage.

Israeli consumer sports analytics developer PlaySight Interactive Ltd. has announced that it has closed a successful series A financing round, raising $1.5 million. The round was led by London-based media-technology finance house D5 Capital. The company will direct the funds towards deploying their ‘Smart Court’ platform in the UK.

Planet Soho (previously known as SohoOS), an Israeli company which offers online managerial tools for small businesses, has announced that it has reached an important milestone – one million active monthly users. The company also reported that it is growing by 1,500 new users each day.

Cross-browser platform developer Crossrider has been sold to Markets.com. The Israeli company developed a platform which enables browser extension developers to develop extensions that work on multiple browsers. Markets.com is a leading financial trading site.

Israeli instructional video platform company PowToon has announced that it has raised $600,000 from the Startup Minds accelerator. The accelerator, founded this year, invests relatively low sums in startups, and offers them extended maneuverability, with little interference in the company’s activity.

Israeli minister of energy and water, Dr. Uzi Landau and Canadian environment minister Peter Kent, have signed an agreement to promote the reuse of waste water. The two agreed to advance the United Nations resolution to double the percentage of wastewater reused around the world.

Israeli company BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics Inc. announced that it was awarded a NIS3 million (approx. $795,000) grant from Israel’s Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) for the year 2013. The grant is intended to support BrainStorm’s Research and Development program for its innovative stem cell therapy candidate NurOwn.

Oramed, and Israeli company which is developing an innovative oral insulin capsule, has announced that it has raised $5.6 million in a private placement. The funds will be used to finance clinical trials of the capsule.

PolyPid Ltd., an Israeli biotechnology company, announced today positive preliminary results of a first-in-man clinical trial with BonyPid. In the study, BonyPid demonstrated a clear, positive signal of effect in bone recovery processes, on bones with contaminated open fractures.

Adallom, an Israeli startup that specializes in content security, has announced that it has raised $4.5 million from Sequoia Capital and Zohar Zisapel. According to the company’s website, their product intends to “create seamless security solutions that enable the enterprise to collaborate and share information without the inherent security risks.”

Cardiosonic, Inc., a private company developing innovative and proprietary technology in the field of Renal Denervation for the treatment of Hypertension, announced that it has closed on the first $6.1 million of a planned $16.1 million series B financing round. Cardiosonic has successfully developed a high intensity, non-focused therapeutic ultrasound catheter and control system for remote tissue ablation for the treatment of hypertension by Renal Denervation.

Prime-minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron has announced that he intends to encourage cooperation between Britain and Israel in the field of high tech. Cameron made the announcement during the Conservative Friends of Israel lunch and said that it’s only fitting that the first tech envoy out of the UK will be to the “startup nation”.

Israeli communication company Alvarion Ltd. has announced the deployment of a wireless municipal network with the City of Richardson, Texas. The City deployed an Alvarion Smart City solution network that will be used for video surveillance and wireless traffic digitalization.
