Upstream Acquired By Spectranetics For $35.5M
Israeli company Aran R&D Ltd., has announced that its subsidiary, Upstream Peripheral Technologies, Ltd., has been acquired by American medical corporation Spectranetics. Spectranetics will pay up to $35.5 million for the Israeli company, $5.5 million of which will be paid up-front and the rest will be paid in milestone payments.

Israeli company N-trig has announced that its DuoSense active pen technology has been chosen for use in a pilot education project within the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin.
