The Wolf Prize, which is considered to be the “Israeli Nobel Prize”, will be given to eight standouts in the fields of science and architecture. The laureates are from Portugal, Austria, Germany and the US. The winners will receive a total of $500,000 and the prize will be presented by Israeli president Shimon Peres in May.
