For owners worried about their dog's safety, a new system developed in Israel is able to recognize when a dog feels threatened or is stressed and then send an SMS to the pet owner's mobile phone.

Israeli company SDE utilizes the motion of sea waves to produce low cost electricity. It was lately ranked by international scientists as the world’s number one developer of Sea Wave Energy Technologies. The system takes advantage of the wave's speed, height, depth, rise and fall - and the flow beneath the approaching wave to produce energy.

Instead of a land-based solar system, the company Solaris Synergy decided to develop a water-based technology. In other words: a floating solar power plant. According to the company, any fresh, salt or waste water surface can be turned into a solar energy platform.

China Southern Power Grid and Better Place, the Israeli provider of global electric car networks, announced the opening of their Switchable Electric Car Experience Center in CHina's Guangzhou’s province. The center will demonstrate the technology behind Better Place's "battery swap stations" for electric cars.
