Local Delivery Platform For Small Businesses Raises $6M

A startup that uses AI to cut delivery costs for small businesses by up to 50 percent has announced $6 million in funding.

Evermile matches merchants to the right delivery company for each delivery task. It uses algorithms to instantly analyze order preferences and constraints, including locations, distance to delivery, the type of goods, and the customer’s preferred timescale to receive their purchases ranging from on-demand, next day to custom, or scheduled dates.

The startup says it is the first local delivery service built for small businesses, and has already partnered with over 300 local merchants across the UK, including pharmacies, florists, wine stores, and bakeries. 

It also has a Deliver Together program, which lets local businesses join a single pickup point for deliveries, further slashing delivery costs. 

“Local delivery has become essential to almost every small business, yet current delivery options are complex to manage and prevent growth,” said Omer Goldschmidt, CEO.

“Before Evermile, a local merchant faced two challenging scenarios: manage external delivery vendors themselves or build their own in-house delivery fleet – both are expensive, complex, and time-consuming.

“Evermile offers a third route; access to a single delivery platform that can power all their delivery needs in a simple, flexible, customizable and cost-effective manner. The funding was raised by 10D with participation from Mensch Capital Partners and angel investors. Evermile will use the funding to expand to new markets globally. 

Evermile was founded in 2022 and is based in Tel Aviv.
