The UAE-based venture capital firm Seed Group, owned by the Royal Family of Dubai and the Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, is forging links with Israel.
It has appointed the Tel Aviv-based innovation agency Tech It Forward to provide Israeli startups with opportunities for collaboration, business development and investments in the UAE.
Seed Group has formed strategic alliances with leading global companies representing diverse regions and industries over the last 16 years, closing many multi-million-dollar deals and managing investments worth over a billion dollars.
“The group, thanks to its name, opens doors for Israeli startups and provides assistance with implementation by UAE brands and large corporations, which creates a positive impact on the local and international economic development,” said Tech It Forward in a statement.
Following the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and the UAE, it is seeking to partner with start-ups in the metaverse, crypto, fintech, agri-tech, health, AI, retail and other fields in Israel.
Tech It Forward, founded five years ago by Jessica Rosner and Jennifer Elias as an “innovation bridge maker”, will help scout relevant Israeli technologies and start-ups, and connect them to a new market in the UAE.
