Israeli-Founded Ticket Provider Signs Deal With Major Soccer Club

Sports Events 365, the international sport and music event tickets provider based in Israel, has announced they have signed an agreement with Athletico Madrid, the Spanish professional football club based in Madrid, that play in La Liga, for the 2018-2019 season. The season ticket agreement, which founder and CEO Sefi Donner says allows the company “to cater to the needs of groups of tourists who are looking for a much larger number of tickets to matches” is part of a series of agreements that the provider has signed with other top football clubs in Europe.

The northern Israel-based self-owned ticket provider and destination-based search engine, founded in 2006, already has direct contact with 60 major football clubs in Spain, Italy, England, France, and Portugal.

Donner, however, says they want to take it one step further. “We are working to expand our network of season ticket agreements to additional European clubs in top leagues in order to produce the best possible offering for football fans all over the globe,”

With further expansion in mind, Sports Events 365 has also signed agreements with CTRIP, China’s largest online travel company, to offer tickets on the site using their engine, and the Romanian subsidiary of TUI Group, the Anglo-German travel, and tourism firm headquartered in Germany and said to be the largest travel, leisure, and tourism company in the world.

The privately-held company offers over 60,000 events a year in around 50 countries, including tickets for a full range of sporting events and concerts. Last year, Sports Events 365 sold over 50,000 tickets.
