April 13, 2017 | Israel’s Hebrew University has launched a cannabis research center called the Multidisciplinary Center on Cannabinoid Research, which will focus on medical Cannabis. The university is already known for its marijuana research mainly thanks to Prof. Raphael Mechoulam, “the the father of marijuana research,” who successfully isolated the active constituent of the Cannabis plant and synthesized it.
