March 15, 2016 | Israeli big data startup Alooma closed a $11.2 million Series A financing round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Sequoia Capital, which also invested in the company’s seed round. Based in Tel Aviv, Alooma was co-founded in 2013 by CEO Yoni Broyde, CTO Yair Weinberger, and VP of R&D Rami Amar. Alooma provides a modern ETL platform for data engineers and scientists. The company has raised a total of $15 million to date.
