December 31, 2015 | Israeli agriculture analytics company Plytech has closed their Series A fundraising round with an undisclosed amount from existing investors Syngenta Ventures and Mitsui & Co Europe. The investment will fund the expansion of Phytech’s novel alert system, which gives farmers real time recommendations on crop care and water management based on learning algorithms and data analysis. Led by CEO Sarig Duek, Phytech is already active in the U.S, Brazil, and Australia, covering a variety of specialty crops and row crops.
