September 9, 2015 | Members of the Welsh government announced that two Israeli companies would invest £3 million ($4.61 million) in the United Kingdom. The investment is set to see the creation of 100 new jobs in South Wales and up to £13 million (approx. $20 million) to be spent with local suppliers. The announcement will bring 30 research and development positions to the Newport-based technology manufacturer SPTS Technologies. The investment was the result of efforts made between the Welsh Government and UK Trade and Investment Israel.
