September 30, 2015 | The US company General Electric (GE) announced that it will establish an accelerator in Israel. Focusing on the sectors of cloud computing and big data, the accelerator hopes to appeal to industrial Internet and software companies. As part of its first round, the accelerator is looking for four Israeli companies that will join the accelerator this coming July. GE is currently active in Israel through its venture capital arm, GE Ventures, and has invested in or acquired a number of Israeli companies over the years.
