flux Named Finalist For Verizon’s Powerful Answers Award

September 29, 2015 | flux, an Israeli company creating Internet of Things hydroponic technology for home use, was chosen by Verizon Wireless as a finalist to win the Powerful Answers Award. The Powerful Answers Award is a global startup competition that seeks out mobile solutions that aim to make the world a better place. flux is one of 12 companies chosen in the Internet of Things/ Smart Agriculture category and has the opportunity to win up to $1 million in prizes if it is selected as a winner. flux also announced that it will begin to roll out its first product line and that it will partner with leading American hydroponic companies Cropking and AGROWN. flux is based out of New York City and is headed by co-founder and CEO Karin Kloosterman.
