August 10, 2015 | The co-working space for startups, WeWork hosted a hackathon in Tel Aviv in which 100 high school students competed in a 30-hour race to the greatest invention. The hackathon, ‘Hack the Web’, was held at WeWork’s offices in Tel Aviv and was sponsored by Wix, THM and RapidAPI. The students, some of whom are in middle school, competed to create anything they can imagine using their coding, design and entrepreneurial skills. WeWork was founded in 2010 by Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey.
