August 25, 2015 | The Israeli design school, Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art was rated among the best undergraduate fashion programs in the world. The ranking, complied by “Business of Fashion”, put Shenkar in 11th place of 21 schools rated. In addition, the school was rated 5th for its influence on global fashion trends. “Business of Fashion” wrote, “Shenkar blends both the technical and conceptual in its curriculum. Graduates leave the college feeling equipped for a profession in the fashion industry.” Notable Israeli fashion designers Alber Elbaz and Kobi Halperin are former Shenkar students of fashion.
