August 18, 2015 | According to a “Globes” report, Adama Agricultural Solutions will merge with the Chinese pesticide company Sanonda, which Adama will take over. The deal stipulates that Adama will take over most of Sanonda’s shares listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Adama will maintain its name and management, while Sanonda’s management will be in charge of Adama’s Chinese arm. Adama was founded in 1945 and is headed by CEO Chen Lichtenstein.
