August 3, 2015 | A consortium of Israeli universities, including Ben Gurion University, Hebrew University and the Technion Israel Institute of Technology are working together with Australia’s Monash University to develop “water sensitive cities”. The project, which is being funded by the Jewish National Fund, hopes to foster water sensitive cities around the globe that will pursue and combine centralized and decentralized water management methods. The data collected through the project on water security will be used to support the construction of urban master plans in cities in Israeli and international cities.
