August 2, 2015 | The Israeli company Elbit Systems will install its I-PASS system with Israel’s national water company, Mekorot. The system was designed to provide alerts against a number of threats, including the sabotage of the pipeline, water theft, damage and more. The I-PASS system, which stands for Integrated Perimeter Access Security Systems, was designed as part of Mekorot’s WaTech unit. Elbit Systems was founded in 1996 by Elron Electronic Industries.
