June 7, 2015 | The Israeli packaging company StePac was acquired by Johnson Matthey for a total of £18 million (approx. $20 million) in cash. StePac was previously owned by DS Smith. StePac was founded in 1992 by Israel Ben-Tzur and develops packaging that attempts to extend the self-life of standard produce.
