Emerson Electronics Acquires Spectronics For $99M

June 30, 2015 | The Israeli company inventing fire detection technology Spectronics will be sold to Emerson Electronics for $99 million. Spectronics develops sensors for fire alerts and gas leaks that it develops for the civilian market, as well as systems to detect and contain explosions in military vehicles. Spectronics was founded in 1972.
