April 1, 2015 | Israeli company ImageSat International and Incentive Incubator (owned by Israeli VC firm Peregrine) will launch a startup accelerator for companies developing applications using data retrieved from satellites, according to a Globes report. The companies will reportedly invest $15 million in several startup companies in the next two years. ImageSat, headed by CEO Noam Segal, has several satellites that provide information to governments and businesses. Peregrine Ventures specializes in seed-stage investments in medical device companies, as well as in software companies.
