March 10, 2015 | The Israeli company Lingua.ly announced that it raised $1 million in its second funding round, according to “GeekTime.” The funds are added to the $800,000 raised by the company in its initial funding round. Udi Netzer, Shai Refaeli, Yochy Investments and Seed Fund 1776 participated in the round. Lingua.ly has developed a platform that allows users to practice and learn new languages through existing content and it currently support 10 languages. Lingua.ly was founded by Dr. Orly Fuhrman and Dr. Jan Ihmels in 2011.
