March 10, 2015 | The German Government announced that it will commit €450,000 ($482,755) towards the new Minerva Center located at Bar Ilan University. The Minerva Center will commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Germany, entitled “The Minerva Center for the Relations between Israel and Aram in Biblical Times: The Construct of Autonomous Decision Making and Interdependencies.” The Minerva Center will receive funds for six years in which various Israeli-German meetings and joint activities will take place.
