March 10, 2015 | First prize in the Mobile Premier Awards, awarded at the Mobile World Congress, was awarded to Israeli startup Fansino. The Israeli team won for developing an application that allows music fans to interact with musicians and other fans. In addition, the application, developed by Israelis Haran Yaffa and Omri Erez, allows fans to stay up-to-date on concert dates and encourages interaction over social networks. The winner of the Mobile Premier Awards in 2010 was Israeli crowdsourced navigation application Waze, and the award is one of the most important and distinguished for applications.
