February 4, 2015 | Nova Scotia, Canada and Israeli representatives have established a new program to facilitate research and development partnerships between the two entities. The programs hopes to build stronger innovation and economic ties between Israel and Nova Scotia, bringing together the Office of the Chief Scientist in the Ministry of the Economy and the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The partnership was made possible by the Israeli Industry Center for R&D (MATIMOP), the Canada-Israeli Industrial Research Development Foundation (CIIRDF) and the Israeli Embassy in Canada. The program will be called the Nova Scotia-Israel Innovation Program and hopes to deliver R&D expertise and the experience and resources of both entities with the goal of widening economic cooperation.
