January 6, 2015 | According to the CEO of Israeli company Frutarom, the company plans to reach $1 billion in sales as the maker of flavors for Coca-Cola and Nestle seeks more acquisitions. CEO Ori Yehuda reported to Bloomberg: “We are on track in achieving our $1 billion sales target in 2016 and possibly as early as this year.” In addition, the world’s seventh-largest flavor maker in terms of sales reported to Bloomberg that the company is in talks with at least 20 companies and is weighing the possibility for acquisitions in the industry. Since the company was founded in 2001, Frutarom has acquired 32 companies, most recently acquiring the Slovenian company Vitiva for $10 million.
