December 15, 2014 | The Israeli networking company Silicom acquired the Danish network appliances company Fiberblaze. According to the deal, Silicom will pay Fiberblaze’s stockholders about $10 million in cash, subject to the achievement of certain milestones. Fiberblaze provides high performance application acceleration tools for mobile, telecommunications, network monitoring, cybersecurity, financial management and other industries. Silicom is headed by company CEO and President Shaike Orbach.
