August 14, 2014 | The Israeli defense electronics company Elbit Systems was awarded with a $80 million contract to supply an unnamed Latin American country with Command, Control, Computer & Communications (C4I) systems. The project will extend over three years and will be part of the Latin American country’s military extensive modernization efforts. The C4I system will play an information role in emergency situations, facilitating a real-time operational picture for military forces.
