Nokia has acquired Israeli tourism app Desti for an undisclosed sum, it was announced. Desti uses artificial intelligence to sift through thousands of accommodations, attractions, activities and dining spots for tourists. Nokia, which was itself bought by Microsoft last year, aims to integrate Desti’s artificial intelligence and natural language technology to create more personalized location searches on its maps services.
