April 29, 2014 | Israeli biomedical company Bonus BioGroup has begun its human testing phase for its artificially-grown bones. The first transplant was made in a patient’s face, where the bone (created from the patient’s own fat cells) will take approx four months to set and heal. The company is planning a total of 20 bone transplants during the trial.
