October 29, 2013 | Hong Kong communication and industrial mogul Li Ka-shing is investing $6 million in Israeli startup MeMed, “Calcalist” reports. This is Li’s second investment in Israeli biomed and 20th in Israel overall. MeMed develops technology for disease diagnosis, which enables doctor to differentiate between different types of bacteria and between bacteria and viruses, thus helping them to decide which antibiotics to prescribe.
