October 20, 2013 | Doctors Israel Sekler, Ilya A. Fleidervish and Michal Hershfinkel of Ben Gurion University’s Department of Physiology and Cell Biology are winners have been awarded a lucrative grant of $2 million to study “The Interplay of Mitochondrial and Nuclear Ca2+ signaling and its Implication for Memory and Brain Disorders” by the DIP – German-Israeli Project-Cooperation. The grant will be shared with Doctors Hilmar Bading of the Department of Neurobiology, University of Heidelberg and Michael Bader MDC, Charité.
