October 29, 2013 | The Israeli Minister of Agriculture Yair Shamir, has announced that Israel and Japan will set up a joint R&D fund for agriculture. Shamir made the announcement following a meeting in Tokyo with his Japanese counterpart, Agriculture, Fisheries and Forests Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, stating that the cooperation is due to the high level of agricultural technology expertise in both countries.
