Professor Arieh Warshel, an Israeli-American chemist is one of three winners of the Nobel Prize in chemistry. Warshel won the prize with fellow scientists Martin Karplus and Michael Levitt, who are also Jewish (Levitt also holds an Israeli citizenship). The three won the prize for their work on multiscale models for complex systems.
