September 30, 2013 | Chinese billionaire Li Ka-Shing, who is a serial investor in Israeli companies, has donated $130 million to Technion Israel Institute of Technology. The funds, donated via the Li Ka-Shing Foundation, will be used to build a new academic facility in Guangdong Province in cooperation with Shantou University (STU). The donation is the largest ever given to the Technion.
