In the 1990’s, Israel and the Palestinian Authority entered into an agricultural cooperation, as part of the Oslo Accord. The agreement was put on hiatus 13 years ago, with the breakout of the second intifada.
However, on Saturday night, both ministries agreed to renew some of the cooperation. Among other things, the sides agreed to establish a regional center for agronomic cooperation.
