Israeli communication satellite, AMOS 4, has been successfully launched into space. The satellite was developed by Israel Aerospace Industries and launched by communications company Spacecom.
Amos 4 was launched last night from the Zenit launching pad in Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The launch ended early this morning, as the satellite disconnected from its launcher-rocket and started advancing towards the location from which it will go into orbit within two weeks.
