Israeli pharmaceutical company Oramed Pharmaceuticals, which develops a pill for oral delivery of insulin for diabetics, has raised $4.6 million in a private placement. Oramed is developing a revolutionary tablet, which can be taken orally, and will save diabetics the hassle of injecting themselves with insulin. The funds raised will be directed towards further clinical trials of the pill.
