Israeli biomed company PROLOR Biotech Inc. has been acquired by American company Opko Health Inc. Opko, which is based in Miami, will pay $480 million for the Israeli company, which has an estimated market worth of $370 million. PROLOR’s lead product is a longer-lasting human growth hormone.
